Plastic Surgery Expert: Botox at 20 is a Waste of Money

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Mail.ru, renowned plastic surgeon Nora Nugent issued an important warning for young people who are enthusiastic about early cosmetic procedures. In an interview with Terra publication, the specialist categorically stated: "It's impossible to treat something that doesn't exist yet. Injecting Botox at such an early age is a waste of money."

According to the surgeon, visiting a cosmetologist makes sense only when the first real wrinkles appear on the face. It is during this period that one can objectively assess the signs of aging and develop a truly effective individual correction program.

Nugent's position is fully supported by Ashton Collins, a representative of Save Face, an organization fighting for stricter standards in cosmetology. She warns about the risk of developing resistance to the drug when injections are started early. Collins shared her personal experience: having started procedures at 26, she eventually noticed a reduction in the duration of the effect, which led to the need to visit a cosmetologist much more frequently.
