Why do we get tired after a full night's sleep? Famous medical expert reveals the secrets of chronic fatigue

Renowned medical expert Murray Horvat has revealed the secrets of a mysterious condition familiar to millions of people - chronic fatigue that persists even after a full night's rest. In his interview with Infobae, the specialist detailed the reasons why many people wake up completely exhausted despite following all the rules of healthy sleep.

According to Horvat, the main culprit of constant fatigue is often sleep apnea - an insidious condition in which a person's breathing periodically stops. "During apnea, the body experiences multiple micro-awakenings that may go unnoticed by the person themselves. However, their destructive effect is felt throughout the following day in the form of pronounced fatigue, even if you spent the recommended eight hours in bed," the doctor emphasizes.

Among other factors that deprive us of proper rest, the specialist highlights restless leg syndrome. The expert also links daytime drowsiness to narcolepsy - a serious neurological disorder manifested by sudden attacks of overwhelming sleepiness during the day. For those who constantly struggle with chronic fatigue, Horvat strongly advises checking blood for anemia, and additionally recommends that women examine their hormonal levels.
