Near the deepest point on the planet - the Mariana Trench - fishermen pulled a mysterious creature from the ocean depths that has puzzled even experienced scientists. Their nets caught a semi-transparent and luminous being with unique characteristics not found in any organism known to science.
According to researchers, despite emergency transportation to a laboratory and the use of advanced DNA analysis methods, they were unable to identify the organism.
"Even genetic decoding yielded no results. It seems the creature has no analogues in known databases," stated biologists working on studying the find.
The Mariana Trench continues to remain one of the least explored places on the planet. Specialists believe that these depths may be home to organisms that have never encountered the surface or humans.
Deep-sea ecosystems still hold many secrets: pressure, temperature, and complete darkness make these areas practically inaccessible for comprehensive research.
Scientists from several leading oceanographic institutes have joined forces for a comprehensive analysis of the find. Intensive work is being conducted to study the external features, tissues, and luminous pigments. Experts are considering theories that it could be either a new species or a relict creature that has survived from ancient epochs to the present day.
Official scientific conclusions about this unique find will be presented later. At the moment, the creature remains a scientific mystery from a depth of more than 10 thousand meters.
