Time for sports: how the wrong choice of training time can nullify all efforts

"Every person has their own 'internal clock,' and it's important to consider when you feel most energetic," shared Julia Kaurova, a trainer from the WowFit service, with Life.ru.

The expert warns "early birds" about the importance of considering hormonal background: morning elevated cortisol levels combined with physical activity create double pressure on the body. "Such excessive stress can seriously hinder your progress in training," emphasizes Kaurova.

Sleep patterns also play a critical role in training effectiveness. The specialist notes that early workouts after late bedtimes cause significant stress and disrupt the body's natural recovery processes.

For strength training, the expert recommends choosing afternoon hours when muscle tissue is already sufficiently active and warmed up, which significantly reduces the risk of injury. Meanwhile, evening cardio workouts can become a real problem for people with sensitive sleep, provoking insomnia.
