Among the most effective means for maintaining the health of this important organ, the expert especially highlighted cottage cheese with a fat content of two to seven percent. According to Dianova, to achieve a noticeable health effect, it is necessary to consume at least 50 grams of this dairy product daily. The key role here is played by the amino acid methionine contained in cottage cheese, which actively helps to reduce fat deposits in the liver.

"This same amino acid is also found in oats, so for breakfast you can eat oatmeal, granola or muesli. You can add milk thistle seed paste to the porridge," the specialist recommends. She emphasized that milk thistle is rich in the substance silymarin, which not only improves the function of the bile ducts but also protects liver cells from damage.

In conclusion, Dianova noted that both for prevention and for existing liver diseases, such simple remedies as rosehip broth and baked apples can be especially beneficial.
