WhatsApp is testing a revolutionary "Quick Summary" feature for Android users, which will help instantly get the essence of missed messages without the tedious task of scrolling through long conversations. Information about this innovation was published by the specialized portal WABetaInfo (WBI).
The innovative button on the "Chats" tab will allow users to select up to five conversations and get a brief summary of their content. Artificial intelligence will analyze unread messages and create a concise summary, significantly saving time for messenger users.
The developers emphasize that the feature will be completely voluntary and disabled by default. Those wishing to use the innovation will need to activate it manually in the application settings.
Data security has been a priority in creating this feature. Message processing will be carried out using Private Processing technology, which ensures complete confidentiality – neither WhatsApp nor Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) will have access to the content of personal messages or created summaries. All information will be processed in encrypted form in an isolated environment.
It's worth noting that the feature will not be compatible with chats protected by Advanced Chat Privacy.
Currently, "Quick Summary" is in the testing phase and will be available to all users in one of the upcoming updates. However, the most impatient can already evaluate the new feature by installing the beta version of the messenger with build number 2.25.21.12.
