Woman who survived cardiac arrest described what she saw while being resuscitated

A British woman shared her shocking experience of clinical death after her heart stopped. This was reported by the Daily Star.

As the woman herself recounted, the dramatic incident occurred immediately after a workout. After complaining to her friend about sudden weakness, she unexpectedly lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Paramedics who arrived a few minutes later immediately began resuscitation efforts.

"When it happened, everything went dark, and there was nothing around," the woman shared from her memories.

According to her, something amazing then happened – she suddenly realized that she was observing her own body from the outside. The woman noticed that her legs looked swollen. Interestingly, later, when she saw photographs from the scene, she discovered that her legs had indeed increased in size.

"I didn't see light and didn't feel peace, I just looked at myself and saw some yellow machines around," the publication states.

After 17 minutes of intensive resuscitation efforts, the woman's heart began beating again. This was followed by three days in a coma. After being discharged home, she had to wear a pacemaker for several more months.
