Russia-Ukraine Talks in Istanbul: Delegations Will Meet After Lunch

The Russian delegation has already arrived in Istanbul for important negotiations with the Ukrainian side, scheduled for May 15.
According to TUT.AZ, citing RT journalist Konstantin Pridybailo, the Il-62M aircraft of the special flight unit "Russia" successfully landed at Istanbul airport.
The Russian delegation is headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The day before, on the evening of May 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the composition of the Russian delegation for talks with Ukraine. The Russian side also includes Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin, and the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (formerly known as the Main Intelligence Directorate - GRU) Igor Kostyukov.
The Ukrainian side at the negotiations will be represented by the head of the president's office Andriy Yermak, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, and presidential advisor Ihor Zhovkva.
