Anomalous phenomenon: a solar flare has been continuing on the Sun for several days in a row. This unusual solar activity was recorded by specialists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
"The background X-ray radiation of the Sun has exceeded the C-level flare threshold for several days, which means that in a sense, one continuous flare has been occurring on the Sun all these days," scientists reported.
According to researchers, an exceptionally large number of large spots are observed on the surface of our star, indicating significant reserves of flare energy. Experts emphasized that X-ray radiation occurs exclusively as a result of active processes, so its abnormally high level is direct evidence of intense energy processes continuing on the star.
