The King of the Netherlands called on the country to "arm itself to the teeth"

The Netherlands must "arm themselves to the teeth" in order to preserve peace and security.

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, this was stated by the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander.

"We may have taken it for granted that we would always have freedom and peace. Unfortunately, Ukraine and other conflicts prove that this is no longer the case. And that we really need to prepare," the monarch emphasized in his address.

The King emphasized that for a large-scale rearmament of the Netherlands, it is also necessary to radically restructure the country's defense industry.

"We need to be able to resume production," Willem-Alexander concluded, pointing to the strategic importance of this issue for national security.
