Putin and Trump meeting may take place in the coming days

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Russian media, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced upcoming negotiations between the leaders of the two powers.

According to Ushakov, a preliminary agreement has already been reached between the parties, and the process of preparation for the important meeting has begun. "An agreement has been reached to hold a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in the coming days, and the parties have begun working on it," emphasized the Russian leader's aide.

Ushakov noted that the next week is being considered as the tentative date for the negotiations, but the exact timing and duration of the preparatory activities have not yet been determined.

He also reported that the meeting venue has already been chosen but will be announced later. Additionally, according to Ushakov, US Presidential special envoy Steve Whitcoff proposed the idea of organizing a trilateral meeting with the participation of Putin, Trump, and Zelensky, but the Russian side refrained from commenting on this proposal.
