The Kremlin has denied demanding Zelensky's resignation as a condition for a peace agreement with Ukraine, reports TUT.AZ.
"Zelensky's resignation is not among Russia's demands regarding Ukraine," said Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov in an interview with French publication Le Point.
However, the head of the Kremlin press service emphasized that any documents signed by Vladimir Zelensky could be challenged since "his term of office has ended."
Peskov also noted that resolving the conflict is impossible without normalizing relations between Moscow and Washington. The Kremlin representative expressed confidence that Russia would achieve its goals - either through peaceful means or military action.
