Pakistans Ministry of Defense: New Delhi has no evidence of Islamabads connection to the terrorist attack in India

Indian authorities have failed to present convincing evidence of the terrorist group "Lashkar-e-Taiba's" connection to Pakistan, and New Delhi apparently used the tragic events to escalate tensions in the region.

As reported by TUT.AZ, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made this resonant statement in an exclusive interview with British TV channel Sky News.

"They (Indian authorities - ed.) have never provided any evidence, just to accuse Pakistan of something and create a situation in their interests. We have nothing to do with this. We have no connection to this whatsoever," the high-ranking official categorically stated.

According to the minister, the group "Lashkar-e-Taiba" does not operate on Pakistani territory, and US and Indian intelligence services made hasty conclusions without any factual basis. Pakistani security forces, after conducting their own investigation, concluded that "everything was staged" with the sole purpose of destabilizing the situation in an already tense region, Asif emphasized.
