Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made a bold statement claiming that Islamabad possesses intelligence about terrorist acts being prepared by India in various cities of Pakistan.
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Haber Global TV channel, this statement followed the tragic events in the Jammu and Kashmir region, where 26 people were killed in an armed attack on Tuesday. The Indian side immediately accused Pakistan of the incident.
"If India carries out such terrorist attacks, Pakistan will respond symmetrically. They will have to bear responsibility for their actions," Asif warned.
According to the minister, India is already waging a low-intensity conflict against Pakistan.
"If they decide to escalate this conflict, we are fully prepared. In defending our territory, we will not yield to any international pressure," the head of the defense department stated firmly.
