South Korean company reminded employees about hygiene before summer heat
An unnamed company in South Korea sent an unusual memo to its employees, calling for adherence to personal hygiene rules ahead of the approaching hot season.
As reported by TUT.AZ, one of the employees published a screenshot of this message on social network X, which caused widespread resonance in local media, including the reputable newspaper Korea JoongAng Daily and the popular portal News.nate.
In the document, management strongly recommends that staff shower daily, keep their clothes clean, use deodorants and wet wipes. Special attention is paid to regular ventilation of work areas. "Don't think you don't smell - your colleagues just don't tell you about it," - reads one of the most notable phrases in the memo.
According to a survey by Incruit company, which involved 361 respondents, the majority of workers admitted that they had to deal with the problem of unpleasant odor from colleagues. Interestingly, many social media users expressed support for such an initiative, and one commenter even wrote: "Please do the same in our company".
