Indian authorities may suspend all Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flights after crash

The Indian government is considering suspending flights of all Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners in the country following the air crash in Ahmedabad.

According to TUT.AZ with reference to NDTV, the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India plans to conduct a thorough inspection of all Dreamliner aircraft in operation. In the near future, their flights may be temporarily suspended.

"Based on the inspection results, a final decision will be made, but maintaining strict safety standards and ensuring passenger safety are non-negotiable," the publication emphasizes.

The tragic crash of the Boeing 787 aircraft, owned by Air India, occurred on June 12 in the Meganinagar area, in close proximity to Ahmedabad airport in the Indian state of Gujarat. The aircraft, which was operating an international flight on the Ahmedabad - London route, crashed almost immediately after takeoff.
