Tragedy on the Caspian Sea: mother and five-year-old son disappeared during a paddleboard ride

The dramatic incident occurred in Makhachkala. A 31-year-old tourist who came to the resort with her young son went for a sea excursion this morning in the Karaman-7 area. After checking into their cottage, they decided to try this water sport, but never returned to their accommodation.

According to sources, the mother and child were traveling on a single paddleboard. Preliminary data indicates that the paddleboard overturned, resulting in both of them ending up in the waters of the Caspian Sea.

"A search operation has been launched in the Caspian Sea area. But there is almost no chance of finding them alive," the publication reports.
