Tragedy in Brazil: a two-year-old child accidentally shot his mother with his father's gun

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Izvestia, the shocking incident occurred in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The family was in the backyard of their home when the child discovered a pistol left on the table, pointed it at his mother and involuntarily pulled the trigger. Despite emergency hospitalization, the woman could not be saved.

According to law enforcement agencies, the deceased's husband is a farmer and had an official permit to carry and store firearms. The man remains free, however, he has already been charged with involuntary manslaughter and violation of safe storage of weapons rules.
