Head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Chelyabinsk region stripped of Russian citizenship

Businessman Hankishiev Arshad Ady oglu, known as a major trader of vegetables and fruits, restaurateur and founder of companies LLC "Fruktdom", LLC "Fruit-House", LLC "Nar Sharab" and LLC "Caspian", held the position of president of the Chelyabinsk Regional Social and Legal Public Organization "Azerbaijan" and headed the Public Organization "Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis of the Chelyabinsk Region" (AZERCHEL).

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Russian media, the reason for the termination of the organizations' activities was the businessman's accusation of "propaganda of ethno-separatism and support for Alexei Navalny".

It is worth noting that the CHOSPOO "Azerbaijan" was recently liquidated by court decision. Earlier, a similar judicial measure was applied to the AZERCHEL organization.
