Head of the opposition faction "Armenia" Seyran Ohanyan received a travel restriction as a preventive measure
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Armenian media, the Investigative Committee of Armenia officially confirmed the selection of this preventive measure for the prominent opposition politician.
Ohanyan is charged with a whole bouquet of serious accusations under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia: abuse of official powers, accepting bribes, money laundering, as well as entering deliberately false data in the income declaration.
It is worth noting that earlier the National Assembly of Armenia voted to strip Seyran Ohanyan of parliamentary immunity, which opened the way for bringing charges.
