US President Donald Trump nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize
The former White House head personally shared the nomination document on his social network TruthSocial.
The author of the nomination was US Congressman Buddy Carter. In his official address to the Nobel Committee, the politician emphasized Donald Trump's "exceptionally important historical role" in the process of resolving tense relations between Iran and Israel.
"As a member of the United States Congress, I officially nominate Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, for the Nobel Peace Prize," the letter states.
