Blogger and businessman Nikita Efremov was detained at Sheremetyevo

Ostankinsky Court restricted the freedom of 25-year-old blogger Nikita Efremov in an extremism case. This was reported on August 19 by the press service of Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

According to the court, the young influencer is accused of a serious criminal offense - "Financing extremist activities" (part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). As reported by RBC, citing sources close to Efremov, the case presumably involves money transfers to the FBK*, which is banned in Russia.

Nikita Efremov was born on December 12, 1999, in Moscow. He received education in Great Britain, completed school in the Russian capital ahead of schedule, and earned a diploma from the prestigious MGIMO in international law.

Efremov demonstrated his entrepreneurial talent in his teenage years. At 15, together with his partner Dmitry Shapa, he purchased exclusive sneakers from Kanye West's collaboration with Adidas for 30 thousand rubles after standing in line for four days, and then resold them for triple the profit. Subsequently, this small project grew into a full-fledged business. Under his own brand NIKITA EFREMOV, they continued selling limited edition shoes from Kanye West and Michael Jordan. According to "Fontanka," 50% of the company LLC "A RARE CASE" belongs to famous blogger Mikhail Litvin. According to financial indicators for 2023, the enterprise was operating at a loss.
