Shocking incident at Sheremetyevo: man attacks two-year-old child and inflicts severe injuries

An extraordinary incident occurred at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, where a 31-year-old man attacked a small child. A passenger named Vladimir, in an inadequate state, grabbed a two-year-old boy who was standing next to his parents' suitcase, lifted him up and forcefully threw him to the floor.

According to TUT.AZ, citing TV Rain, the Moscow Region Ministry of Health reports that the injured child's condition is assessed as severe. The boy is in a coma, diagnosed with a fractured spine and skull, and closed craniocerebral trauma. The attacker, who was found to be under the influence of narcotic substances, has been detained by law enforcement. He faces up to 15 years imprisonment under the charge of "Attempted murder of a minor."

The detained man could not clearly explain the motives for his actions.
