Famous fitness trainer Duffy Gaver revealed professional secrets that helped Brad Pitt achieve an amazing physical shape for the iconic role of Achilles. The Hollywood star followed a strict daily training regimen. The program included complex exercises: push-ups (performed twice a day, five sets of ten repetitions), pull-ups, air squats, lat pulldowns to the chin, T-bar rows, bent-over dumbbell rows, and glute hyperextensions.
Gaver shared that the training strategy was carefully thought out to create a visually impressive silhouette on screen. "For an effective appearance on camera, Pitt needed a powerful back, expressive shoulders and arms," the trainer explained. He also revealed an interesting detail: the team deliberately limited the development of the actor's chest muscles so that his shoulders and arms wouldn't look disproportionately small on camera.
