Tennis legend Roger Federer will start the famous "24 Hours of Le Mans" race
20-time Grand Slam champion, former world number one Swiss tennis player Roger Federer has been honored with a prestigious mission - he will start the 93rd legendary "24 Hours of Le Mans" race in history, which begins on June 14.
As reported by TUT.AZ, this was announced by the race press service.
"It's a huge honor to start the '24 Hours of Le Mans', an iconic but extremely grueling race. I have always admired the determination, precision and endurance required for this. Being at the center of this iconic event is an unforgettable experience," Federer shared.
Recall that Roger Federer ended his brilliant sports career in September 2022, performing at the Laver Cup 2022 in London. Symbolically, the Swiss legend played his farewell match in doubles together with another great tennis player - 22-time Grand Slam champion, former world number one Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
