Doctor revealed the secrets of safe body recovery after New Year's feast. The main rule is to follow a gentle diet and not overload the digestive system. These recommendations were shared by Oleg Morunov, a candidate of medical sciences, assistant of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy at the Institute of Clinical Medicine of the Pirogov University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to RIA Novosti, the medical expert primarily calls for replenishing water balance. The specialist recommends consuming clean warm water after the holidays, drinking it in small sips throughout the day.
The doctor also strongly recommended temporarily excluding fatty, spicy, and smoked foods from the diet, as they create an additional burden on the gastrointestinal tract and liver.
Additionally, Morunov emphasized that during the recovery period, it is extremely beneficial to include moderate physical activity — regular walks in fresh air and simple workouts, which will significantly help the body return to its normal rhythm of life faster.
