A new color has been discovered, which only five people in the world have seen

Sensational discovery: American scientists have found a previously unknown color. Five experiment participants, who became the first witnesses to this unique phenomenon, describe the mysterious shade as something intermediate between blue and green. This information is published by The Guardian.

"It's impossible to convey this color in an article or on a monitor. The whole point is that this is not a color that we see, it simply doesn't exist," - the publication quotes visual scientist Austin Roord, who emphasizes the unprecedented nature of the discovery.

American researchers managed to obtain the new color as part of a revolutionary experiment using laser pulses directed at the eyes of volunteers. Thanks to high-precision stimulation of individual photoreceptor cells in the retina, scientists were able to overcome the natural limitations of human visual perception.

According to the scientific publication in the prestigious journal Science Advances, during the experiment, a colored spot appeared in the image, approximately twice the size of the full Moon in area. This amazing color cannot be seen with normal vision under natural lighting. The newly discovered shade, which expands our understanding of the color spectrum, received the laconic name olo.
