Defense Minister Umerov to lead Ukrainian delegation at negotiations with Russia in Istanbul

As reported by TUT.AZ, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced in his Telegram channel the composition of the delegation for the upcoming negotiations.

"I have determined the positions before the meeting in Istanbul on Monday. Our delegation on Monday will be headed by Rustem Umerov," said the head of state.

Earlier, Zelensky confirmed Ukraine's participation in the second round of negotiations and named the priorities of the Ukrainian delegation. According to him, Kyiv will primarily seek an unconditional ceasefire for 30 days. The politician also expressed hope for reaching agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and preparing a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
