US President Donald Trump does not rule out the possibility of meeting with Vladimir Putin in Istanbul and expresses readiness to come to Turkey to bring peace closer

"Putin would like to see me there, and it's quite possible. I'm not sure if he will appear himself if I'm not there. We'll live and see," Trump shared with journalists during a flight to Qatar aboard the presidential Air Force One plane.
The White House head noted that his schedule for Thursday, May 15, when Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are planned in Istanbul, is completely full. However, Trump emphasized his readiness to find time for a meeting with the Russian leader if it would help "save human lives."
