US President Donald Trump at a White House press conference did not rule out the possibility of Israel carrying out a military strike on the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Responding to journalists' questions about the possibility of such a development, the White House chief said: "I don't want to talk about the inevitability of Israel striking, but it seems that this could very well happen. It's all very simple and uncomplicated: Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. Otherwise, I want them to be successful. I want them to be amazing. We will help them become successful. We will trade with them. We will do everything necessary."

"I would like to avoid conflict. Iran will have to negotiate more firmly, meaning they will have to give us what they don't want to give now," emphasized the US president, indicating the administration's desire for a diplomatic solution to the issue.
