US President Donald Trump gave a high assessment of the first 100 days of his second presidential term, calling this period "very successful".

As reported by TUT.AZ, the American leader made this statement in an exclusive interview with Time magazine.

"I believe that we had a very successful first 100 days of the presidency. People wrote that it was the best first month, the best second month - and indeed the best third month. But this will not be immediately clear, because the transition takes some time," emphasized the head of the White House.

Responding to journalists' questions about expanding presidential powers, Trump stated that he uses power exclusively as it was "originally intended".
