US President Donald Trump urgently convened a meeting with top leadership after Iran's missile strikes on American military facilities in Iraq and Qatar.
As reported by Fox News, the White House head immediately responded to the escalation of tensions in the region.
In the evening, Iran's armed forces launched a military operation called "Good News of Victory" as a retaliatory measure for American strikes on the country's nuclear facilities carried out on June 22.
According to media reports, Iranian military fired 10 missiles at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, where the operational headquarters of the US Central Command is located, as well as one missile at the Ain al-Asad base in Iraq.
