American military launched a series of powerful strikes on the territory of Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels from the "Ansar Allah" movement. The tragic result of the shelling of Saada province - one person was killed.

On Friday evening, US armed forces attacked the Yemeni capital Sanaa, as well as the provinces of Saada, Al-Mahwit and Al-Hodeidah. According to the Saudi TV channel Al Hadath, Houthi military facilities were hit, including weapons depots and personnel deployment locations.

Al Masirah claims that one of the strikes in Saada province was directed at the Sahar district - a territory inhabited by Yemeni Bedouins. The victim of the American strike was a representative of a nomadic Bedouin tribe.

On March 15, the United States, by order of President Donald Trump, began massive strikes on Houthi facilities, who control approximately one-third of Yemen's territory. According to a statement from the US Central Command, the operation is being conducted to protect American interests and ensure freedom of navigation.
