As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to No Comment, the sad news was announced by Turkey's Minister of Health Kemal Memisoglu through his official account on social network X.

"Despite all efforts of the medical staff, it was not possible to save the mayor of Manisa, Ferdi Zeyrek, who was taken to the hospital after an accident and spent some time in intensive care. I express my condolences to his family and all who knew and loved him," wrote the head of the department.
