President of Israel commented on the strike against Iran

President of Israel Isaac Herzog announced the beginning of a "targeted operation to neutralize threats to the existence of our people" with strikes on the territory of Iran. The corresponding statement appeared on his official page on the social network X.

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Gazeta.ru, the head of the Israeli state emphasized that "over the past decades, the Iranian regime, which leads a global empire of terror, has continued to radicalize and destabilize the region through its proxies, tirelessly working to build up military nuclear potential and expand its arsenal of ballistic missiles."

He also accused Iran of intending to "destroy the state of Israel" and actively attempting to implement these plans.

"Israel has the inherent right and sacred duty to defend itself - and will always do so decisively and clearly. We sincerely hope that this will change the trajectory of our region's development towards a more peaceful and prosperous future," Herzog emphasized.
