Poland launches urgent operation to evacuate its citizens from Israel amid escalating conflict

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to RMF24, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland has announced the beginning of preparations for a large-scale evacuation of Polish citizens wishing to leave Israel due to the intensification of military actions in the region.

The Polish foreign ministry plans to evacuate about 200 compatriots. According to the developed plan, the evacuation will take place in two stages: first, people will be transported by buses to Jordan, from where a special flight to Warsaw will then be organized. It is important to note that the entire operation will be completely free of charge for the evacuated citizens.

"We expect that we will be ready to conduct the operation in a few dozen hours. This concerns both tourists and those Polish citizens who came to Israel for a short time," said Deputy State Secretary at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Henryka Mościcka-Dendys.

According to the diplomat, Poland will be the first European Union state to organize the evacuation of its citizens from Israel in connection with the current situation.
