Sensation: "Kurdistan Workers' Party" announces self-dissolution after 40-year confrontation

As reported by TUT.AZ, according to information from the Turkish TV channel Haber Global, the "Kurdistan Workers' Party" (PKK), recognized as a terrorist organization in Turkey, has made a historic decision to dissolve itself.

This fateful decision was made during the 12th party congress, held from May 5 to 7 of this year.

Along with this, the PKK announced its intention to end the armed conflict with Turkey, which had continued for more than four decades and claimed thousands of lives.

It is worth noting that back in February, the group's leader Abdullah Öcalan called for the dissolution of the organization, which ultimately happened.
