Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif convened an emergency meeting of the body overseeing the country's nuclear arsenal
This is reported by Reuters.
According to available information, the head of government initiated an urgent meeting of the National Command Authority - the highest body uniting civilian and military leaders responsible for making strategic decisions in the field of national security, including issues related to the country's nuclear capabilities.
Recall that Pakistan launched a large-scale military operation "Bunyan ul-Marsus" ("Lead-Coated Wall") against India in response to actions by the Indian side. As a result, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic struck numerous strategic targets on Indian territory, including air bases, airfields, a military headquarters, and a "BrahMos" missile storage facility. It is also reported that 70% of India's power grid was disabled as a result of cyberattacks.
