NASA Names Estimated Timeline for Astronaut Moon Landing

The United States is preparing for a historic return to the Moon in the coming years. Acting NASA Director Sean Duffy revealed ambitious plans for the American space program in an exclusive interview with Fox News.

According to Duffy's statement, the US space program envisions American astronauts orbiting the Moon as early as 2026, however, landing on the lunar surface will occur later. The astronaut landing is planned during Donald Trump's presidency - before January 2029.

Duffy specifically noted that a permanent American base will be established on Earth's satellite. Scientific research and experience gained during the lunar mission will become a key stage in preparation for the future conquest of Mars.
