Putin invited Zelensky for talks in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed organizing a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in the Russian capital.

According to AFP news agency, citing informed sources, this initiative was voiced during a telephone conversation between the Russian president and US leader Donald Trump.

There has been no official confirmation of this information from the Russian side yet.

The telephone talks between Trump and Putin took place in parallel with a meeting in Washington, which was attended by the US President, EU leadership, and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky. During the conversation, the American president informed his Russian counterpart about the content and results of these negotiations.
