In Abakan, a man received critical burns due to an electric scooter catching fire while charging
"A shocking incident occurred yesterday afternoon in Abakan. 49-year-old Alexander, who lives in a house on Torosova Street, connected his electric scooter to a charger. Suddenly, the vehicle's battery malfunctioned and burst into flames. The fire quickly spread, covering an area of 14 square meters," reports the SHOT Telegram channel.
As a result of the incident, the electric scooter owner suffered serious injuries - first, second, and third-degree burns. About 90% of the man's body surface was affected. Currently, Alexander is in the intensive care unit in critical condition.
