Jim Carrey sold his mansion with a multi-million discount

Jim Carrey parted ways with his luxurious mansion in the USA, agreeing to an impressive discount. The famous comedian sold his property almost 10 million dollars cheaper than the initial price, reports Mansion Global.

As the publication notes, finding a buyer proved to be a challenging task. The Hollywood star first put the house up for sale in 2023 with a price tag of 29 million dollars, however, no interested parties were found at that time. Eventually, the mansion found a new owner for 18.75 million dollars.

The sold property is a magnificent ranch located in the prestigious Brentwood area in Los Angeles. Carrey purchased it in 1994 at the peak of his popularity, when the world witnessed his brilliant performances in comedies "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "The Mask," and "Dumb and Dumber."

The mansion impresses with its interior: five spacious bedrooms, an exquisite Art Deco theater, a cozy veranda, and an elegant terrace by the pool with a waterfall. The adjacent territory of 80 acres includes a covered patio near the pool, a picturesque garden, and a specially equipped meditation area.
