Israel lifts all restrictions for the population after reduction of tensions with Iran

The Home Front Command of the Israeli army has decided to completely cancel the restrictive measures for the civilian population that were in effect throughout the country during the period of escalating relations with Iran.

According to the military, this decision was the result of a thorough "assessment of the current situation" in the security sphere. The lifting of restrictions followed the official announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel made on Tuesday morning.

"The entire territory of the country is transitioning from a regime of strict restrictions to a regime of full activity without restrictions," the official statement from the army command says.

According to military sources, the new rules came into effect at 21:00 Baku time. The regime without restrictions will be in effect at least until the evening of June 26, after which the military will conduct a reassessment of the security situation.
