Iran Accuses Ex-Intelligence Ministers Son of Supporting Israel

Son of ex-head of Iranian intelligence charged with "supporting Israel"

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Free Iran".

Hassan Younesi, a lawyer and political activist, son of former Iranian Intelligence Minister Ali Younesi, announced on social network X about serious charges brought against him. By decision of the Tehran prosecutor's office, Younesi has been placed under judicial supervision and banned from social media activities for three months.

"It turns out that in addition to charges of spreading false information and propaganda against the regime, I am also accused of 'supporting Israel'," the lawyer wrote in his message.

It is worth noting that Hassan's father, Ali Younesi, headed Iran's Ministry of Intelligence from 2000 to 2005 under reformist President Mohammad Khatami.
