In Yekaterinburg, the head of the Azerbaijani diaspora of the Urals, Shahin Shikhlinskiy, has been declared wanted, according to a source from E1.RU. Public figure Vidadi Mustafayev confirmed the information, describing the situation as a "standard procedure".

The situation is developing against the backdrop of the recent arrest of Shahin Shikhlinskiy's son. Mutvali Shikhlinskiy was detained on July 15 and placed in custody for two months on charges of violence against a government official. The incident occurred on July 1 near "Baku Plaza" during a special operation by security forces aimed at detaining his father. When special forces officers were breaking the car windows, Mutvali, who was driving a "Gelendwagen," began to reverse and hit a special forces officer.
