Popular restaurant "Sheki" in Baku's Narimanov district demolished, owner received 14 million manats in compensation

The demolition of the well-known establishment occurred as part of a large-scale reconstruction of the district's road infrastructure. At the site of the roundabout located at the intersection of Hassan Aliyev and Ahmed Rajabli streets, construction of an automobile tunnel is underway.

According to the source, the compensation amount indicated in the official documents was significantly lower than what was actually paid to the owner. The businessman has already begun construction of a new restaurant with the same name in the Mardakyan settlement.

It should be noted that during the same reconstruction in the Narimanov district, another famous restaurant - "Shusha" - was also demolished. Its owner confirmed receiving compensation of 3 million manats, but expressed dissatisfaction with the amount of the payment.
