Dagestan shaken: impressive footage of the earthquake published
As reported by TUT.AZ, the Telegram channel Mash Gor published dramatic video footage capturing moments of underground tremors in the city of Dagestanskie Ogni.
According to Mash, at least a thousand residents of Makhachkala and other settlements in Dagestan were forced to leave their homes due to fears of aftershocks and possible building collapses. Seismic activity was felt throughout the republic, causing serious concern among the local population.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for Dagestan rushed to reassure citizens, stating that there were no casualties or destruction as a result of the earthquake.
"Emergency services have not received calls from the population with complaints about destruction. Social and cultural facilities are functioning normally," representatives of the department emphasized.
