Erdogan and Putin held telephone negotiations on key international issues

As reported by the Turkish president's administration, the leaders of Turkey and Russia discussed the most important aspects of bilateral relations.

During the telephone conversation, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin addressed current problems related to the situation around Ukraine and Syria, and also exchanged views on regional and global issues.

The President of Turkey emphasized the need to initiate a third round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and assured that Istanbul is ready to once again become a platform for dialogue as soon as the parties determine suitable meeting dates.
