Acting President of Myanmar Myint Swe has died at the age of 75.
As reported by TUT.AZ, the death of the high-ranking politician was announced by the Chinese news agency "Xinhua" with reference to the National Defense and Security Council of Myanmar.
According to the agency, Myint Swe passed away on Thursday morning. Official sources do not disclose the cause of death of the political figure.
It is known that recently the head of state was on leave due to health problems.
Myint Swe took office as Acting President of Myanmar in February 2021 after a military coup in the country. Prior to this appointment, he had served as Vice President of the republic for five years.
