London police investigate mysterious fire at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's personal home
This is reported by the authoritative publication The Times.
According to the information received, the fire in the elite mansion worth 2 million pounds (about 4.4 million manats - ed.) occurred last night on May 12.
"Police officers promptly arrived at the scene. The front door of the house was damaged by fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the incident," the newspaper quotes Scotland Yard's official statement. It is noted that an intensive investigation continues, and the area around the house remains cordoned off. Law enforcement agencies are currently refraining from commenting on the causes of the fire and do not report whether the version of deliberate arson is being considered.
It is worth noting that after Keir Starmer took office as Prime Minister, he and his wife moved to the official residence of the head of the British government on Downing Street. According to the publication, the house damaged by fire is currently being rented out.
